The developers of Payday: The Heist and the developers behind Left 4 Dead are teaming up to bring a new IP to the gaming world, own that promises to be a blend of both games.
Valve is a company known for bringing some of the most iconic titles and characters in the gaming world to life. Whether it be Gordon Freeman and the Half Life games or Team Fortress Classic, or in more recent times Left 4 Dead and its adrenaline pumping action packed gameplay against hordes of zombies, Valve seems to know what it?s doing.
On the other hand, Overkill Entertainment is more of an up and coming studio which brought its own take on shooter genre with Payday: The Heist.
It turns out that both developers are currently working on a game that is a mix of both Left 4 Dead and Payday, which has everyone wondering whether it?s a game involving zombies, a cooperative shooter or something no one has seen before.
Thankfully, Ulf Andersson, the game director at Overkill Entertainment, was on hand to share a bit about the game and by share we mean do nothing but tease.
He said, "As perceptive gamers will have noticed, several hints have recently been dropped into Payday: The Heist, which has led to various rumours.?
What he said next took quite a few members of the gaming community by surprise when he teased a new game that both studios were co-developing.
He said, ?We are excited to be able to confirm that an in-depth collaboration between Overkill and Valve is currently in production.?
The last thing he said in the teaser of an interview was how the game would be influenced by Payday and Left 4 Dead.
"We are working on a very cool blend of Payday and Left 4 Dead. I am sure it is so exciting that it will have some players check into the hospital before we are done."?
